Are You a Plutonian? Pluto Dominant Personality and Invitations Girl and Her Moon

When we talk about Plutonians, what exactly do we mean?

Astrologically, everyone has a dominant planet that is determined by their natal chart. This is determined by elements of your natal chart, such as the signs that are strongest and different aspects in your chart.

As such, you can be a:

  • Plutonian (Pluto, ruler of Scorpio)
  • Martian (Mars, ruler of Aries and Scorpio)
  • Venusian (Venus, ruler of Libra and Taurus)
  • Uranian (Uranus, ruler of Aquarius)
  • Neptunian (Neptune, ruler of Pisces)
  • Jupiterian (Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius)
  • Solarian (The Sun, ruler of Leo)
  • Lunarian (The Moon, ruler of Cancer)
  • Mercurian (Mercury, ruler of Gemini and Virgo)
  • Saturnian (Saturn, ruler of Capricorn)

Whichever one of these you are, you will encompass the qualities of that planet. It is important to note that your dominant planet is not just determined by the dominant sign in your chart, but also by the planet’s aspects. This is why you may be surprised to find what your dominant planet is! For example, I initially thought I was a Plutonian because of heavy Scorpio energy in my chart, but I discovered I was in fact a Jupiterian because of a lot of Jupiter aspects in my chart.

What is a Plutonian?

As the name suggests, a Plutonian is someone who magnifies qualities from the planet Pluto. This is someone who has strong Scorpio energy in their chart or strong Pluto aspects in their chart.

You can always spot a Plutonian because they have an intense energy about them. Like the Scorpio sign that this planet rules, there is a powerful energy to these individuals – you will either be fascinated or intimidated by them!

They are revolutionary and game-changing. Plutonians are the people that delve into the darker side of life. They explore the underworld and they are not afraid to drag the darkness into the light.

As such, Plutonians will often have difficult lives. This is necessary for them so that they understand the darker side of human existence. Like the sign Scorpio, there is a transformative element to this energy.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The most massive characters are seared with scars.”

This quote by Khalil Gibran is perfect for the Plutonian. Once the Plutonian has undergone the necessary transformations, they become a catalyst for great change, both within themselves and for the world around them.

Transformation is not always easy with Pluto. It often involves the destruction of something to make way for something else. Think of the Tower card in the Tarot. This gives you a good idea of Plutonian energy!

Plutonian people often have the ability to look beneath the surface. They are not easily fooled by appearances. They have an uncanny knack for seeing beyond the veil. They get to the heart of the matter and because of this, they make excellent spies, detectives, moles, and may also have an interest in crime shows and murder mystery.

A Plutonian may exhibit a sort of “aloneness” which does not necessarily mean that they are lonely; it just means that they have a lone wolf quality. They are deep thinkers and can sometimes feel like outsiders.

They are people who can have long, intense conversations about the deeper meaning of life and will often take interest in the occult and astrology.

Pluto in the Generations

Every 12 to 30 years, Pluto moves into another sign. Therefore, you will share the same Pluto sign as those born in the same generation as you. This gives us an idea of how change will occur and how the catalyst will be incoming.

Pluto in Scorpio

For example, the Millennial generation (born between 1983 and 1995) are the Pluto in Scorpio generation. This made for an intense generation as the ruler of Scorpio is Pluto. Everyone born between these years shares the same Pluto sign. It is the Millennial generation that sought to break down old structures and to bring hidden things to light. This generation has been tasked with the challenging task of sifting through the darkness in this world and dragging it into the open for all to see so that change can come. As Scorpio is also ruled by Mars, this generation encompasses a collective courage that has been necessary to challenge structures and boundaries that have been oppressive or damaging on a collective scale.

Pluto in Sagittarius

The next generation is Pluto in Sagittarius (born between 1996 and 2009). This generation is free-thinking and encompasses the fiery energy of Sagittarius. Here, Pluto in Sagittarius takes the lessons and information gained from the Pluto in Scorpio generation and begins to take it out into the world with Sagittarius mutable energy. They think outside the box and are highly adaptable, like the sign itself. This is the generation that burns down the old order that Pluto in Scorpio brought to light. Pluto in Sagittarius can be fanatical in its expression at times, as when Sagittarius energy becomes too extreme, it results in being over-zealous.

Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto in Capricorn is the next generation (born between 2010 and 2024). It is this generation that will take the results churned out from Pluto in Sagittarius and transform them into viable structures. This generation is also known as Generation Alpha and will have a lot of similarities to those born between 1912 and 1928. They were also known as the Greatest Generation and many of them fought in two world wars to defend their countries and to defend freedom. Pluto in Capricorn will be a serious and hardworking generation, like the sign of Capricorn, which envisions a stable future that works for all.

Pluto: Catalyst for Transformation

Pluto is a truly fascinating planet. It was discovered in 1930 and comparatively recently compared to the other planets. It is interesting to note that it was discovered in the years building up to the Second World War and since then, as you go through the generations, you can see how each generation encompasses qualities from the Pluto sign they were born in.

As a Plutonian, you have a gift for digging beneath the surface. You are not afraid to delve deep or face the horrors. Yours is a bold sign but not in a Martian way, which is also very courageous but more obviously so. Yours is a subtle type of boldness and sometimes only those closest to you can truly see it.

As a Plutonian, you have the potential to transform your life and the world around you to extraordinary degrees. Trust in this energy and in the mighty power you possess within.
