Saturn entered Aries in February 2026, opening a fresh 29-year cycle of self-leadership, disciplined creation and giving form to our visions. Its retrograde begins on July 26 and continues until December 10, inviting an honest look at what the first five months have shown us.
This period turns our attention towards courage, desire, initiative and integrity. We may see where we still hand our authority outside ourselves – waiting for approval before we act, create, choose or trust what we know. It reveals where our needs, agency or individuality have been set aside for an external voice.
Aries represents the instinctive flame that urges life forwards. Saturn, by contrast, understands patience, responsibility, consequence and the realities of time. July 26, 2026: North Node Enters Aquarius
Also on July 26, the Lunar Nodes begin one of the major astrological shifts of 2026. The North Node leaves Pisces and enters Aquarius, while the South Node moves from Virgo into Leo. They will remain across this axis until March 2028.
The Nodes are calculated points carrying themes of direction, development and closure. The North Node points towards what is emerging, while the South Node reveals what is ready to be completed through release and healing.
With the North Node in Aquarius, we reconsider what it means to belong. The focus expands beyond our private lives into society, community and mutual dependence. We are asked to untangle belonging from sameness, performance and approval. Any connection requiring self-abandonment is ready to be rewritten.
In its place, belonging can be rooted in resonance, shared truth and personal agency. Difference need not threaten connection; it can strengthen it. Individuality becomes part of a larger pattern as distinct voices contribute to a common purpose.
We do not need to shrink, please or reshape ourselves to earn a place. Our vitality has value to offer the whole. Interdependence and uniqueness are allowed to exist together.

July 29, 2026: Jupiter Cazimi in Leo
Jupiter entered Leo just a few weeks ago, beginning a chapter concerned with creativity, courageous expression and a renewed relationship with faith. On July 29, as the Sun travels through Leo, Jupiter joins it in a cazimi.
This meeting brings expansion and illumination. Imagination may feel more available, creativity more animated, and possibility easier to sense. We are encouraged to trust in meaning, opportunity and life’s larger unfolding.
The inner child is especially present – the part that remembers how to play, perform, invent, laugh, move and create because joy wants somewhere to go. This self radiated freely before expression became entangled with comparison, rejection, fear or survival. It needs no reason to delight in being alive.

This Full Moon illuminates collective conditioning and group entanglements we are ready to leave behind. It shows where shared opinions, expectations or power structures have drawn us away from heart, vitality and inner guidance. As the North Node enters Aquarius, outdated definitions of belonging rise to be loosened.
The Moon’s conjunction with Pluto adds emotional depth and reveals hidden patterns. Meanwhile, the Sun’s alignment with Jupiter strengthens the desire to reclaim joy, agency, identity and creative aliveness. One side exposes what has diminished us; the other recalls what is ready to return.
Aquarius teaches that a liberated collective depends upon liberated people. Contribution does not require disappearing into the group. Healthy boundaries help us retrieve energy lost in collective pressures and return to personal desire, inner direction and our own voice.
