What is the best way to navigate challenges during this time? Should we avoid certain activities or just use caution and awareness?
While Mercury stations retrograde and appears to be moving backwards in the cosmic sky, our lives carry on moving forward so it’s not always possible to avoid everything during a retrograde period! Exercising caution and extra awareness during this time is one of the secrets to getting through a retrograde unscathed.
Although keep in mind, some retrograde break-downs or mis-haps are unavoidable, and the best way to navigate through these challenging moments is to take them as opportunities to re-assess and re-align your focus so you can move ahead with more clarity and confidence.
What are your thoughts on launching something new during Mercury Retrograde? What if one cannot wait until the retrograde is over?
If you cannot wait to launch something new and it has to happen during a Mercury Retrograde, I would not bring any fear or worry to the new project. It is important to carry with you a feeling of joy and success in whatever project you are launching, whenever that might be!
However, if it has to be during a mercury retrograde, this just means that when you are dealing with any paperwork or communication throughout the lifetime of this project, just be extra cautious and check the details to make sure the message of your intention is clear and that any confusion is addressed quickly.
In the long run, the trial and error experienced through the project might serve as good practice to improve your communication or documentation skills so you are more capable in asserting your boundaries and getting your message across without confusion.
How can I make the best use of this time?
The best way to use this time is to continue living your beautiful life and not fear the retrograde! I would treat it like any other time of the year and not look out for any hurdles or hiccups. The mercury retrograde is just a moment in the year to bring you back into alignment with your truest thoughts and clear out any confusion or worry.

This is an interesting question and it is something that we would have to explore in a natal chart reading as this is very dependent on where your natal Mercury is placed, which other planets are aspecting it and so on
I was born with mercury in retrograde, what does this mean for me?
If you are born during a mercury retrograde, you might find that the mercury retrograde periods do not impact you as much as they do some others. It may also be a time when things run a little smoother for you, so these can be a time that you look forward to!
What does it mean when a planet is retrograde in its home sign?
It’s not so much about which sign the planet is retrograde in as it is about what aspects that planet might be making to other planets during its retrograde period, this can be other transiting planets it is aspecting or your own natal planets.
How does it affect the natal planets in the house that mercury is retrograding through?
Mercury retrograding over any of your natal planets, particularly the personal planets, such as the sun, moon, mercury, venus or mars, can bring confusion or a bit of chaos to the energy of those planets as it relates to the particular house, or life sector, it moves through.
For example, if Mercury retrograde travels over your natal Venus in the 11th house, there may be some miscommunication between friends, particularly if there is a love interest in the mix! It can also indicate an important time to double check any documents relating to financial matters between collaborators.
