Mars is fire, instinct, motivation, action, and willpower. It’s our warrior planet of the cosmos and the passion that builds and builds in our hearts and bodies until we cannot help but take a step forward.
Uranus is liberation, change, freedom, awakening and authenticity. It is the lightning bolt coming in to break open what is present, so that it may initiate what is next. It is quick, sharp, precise, and often unexpected. What we do know, however, is that each step Uranus takes is in service to our awakening and freedom.
The North Node speaks to destiny, our guiding light that takes us into our greatest growth, fulfilment, and purpose. It holds the desire to move forward, away from the ways of the past.
Housing this gathering of planets on 1 August is Taurus, our zodiac of earthly pleasures, stability, security, and resources. As an Earth sign, Taurus doesn’t necessarily like change – the energy created with this conjunction, however, seems to require change.
This energy invites a certain cracking open for great change to occur, a destabilisation so that we may be led towards building a new foundation – one that is rooted in truth, freedom, liberation and destiny.
