We have spent the last month in Cancer Season, a time of slow movement and inner nurturing, feeling deeply and swimming within our inner worlds. As the Sun moves into Leo on the 22nd, the Suns expression moves from inward to outward.

We are invited to take all that we have been exploring within our inner worlds and create something with it, share it with the world, make art from it and inspire others with it.

It’s a Season of harnessing our inner fires, passion, and vitality into action. Action that is rooted in joy, playfulness, and the pure excitement of being alive.

Leo is devoted to diving into being alive on all levels, to feel all it can feel so that it may express and create from its lived experiences. How do you allow your inspiration to flow through you? Is it through painting, running, laughing, sharing stories, dancing, making pottery, or something else?

Connected to the heart chakra, this season is all love. Big love. Bold love. Overflowing love. Self-love. Expressed love. Sharing love.

The kind of love we feel as the Sun shines on our skin or a child laughs uninhibited. The love that radiates each moment from our hearts. It’s a chapter that wants to remind us of the wellspring of joy, warmth and love that is always available within our hearts. Not in a way that cancels out other very real experiences and emotions of being alive, but in a way that keeps us warm throughout all aspects of our humanness, and in a way that can help us channel every felt experience into creating something beautiful.

Take a moment to enjoy being alive. Run through wildflowers. Create for the pure joy of it. Play with no outcome attached. Re-energise yourself. Love yourself with so much life force that self-belief, self-confidence, and self-appreciation are the themes of your chapter. There is a lightness to this week, with an invitation to take off all that feels heavy and see what changes in ourselves as we move through the world from there.

There is a certain seriousness in the way we collectively approach our lives, our goals, our healings and obligations, and this week acts as a giant permission slip to see the joy in each moment. It reminds us that we can play and do hard things. We can laugh our way through deep inner healing. And we can skip along the path to our biggest dreams – no matter how serious we have made them feel.
