At 20 I was an anxious mess. I was living a life I had created solely out of fear, my soul screaming every day for something, anything, more. I was haunted every single day with the fear of how my life would turn out.
So as it goes, not listening to my soul didn’t get me far. It meant the Universe needed to step in – which it did – big time. Just about everything in my life came crumbling down around me, my relationship, my job, my friendships. All the things that I had based my life and identity around, suddenly gone, in pieces.
I was left alone completely in the dark, stripped down to what felt like nothing, in a place that felt like rock bottom. But it was here where my mind gave up – that my soul had the chance to step forward for the first time. It was here with my life crumbled around me – that I somehow found my magic, the light within me.

It is time to discover the magic within you
Where we feel completely bare, lost, alone, with nothing, is often when the light within is becomes the brightest. When your mind gives up, your soul can finally be heard.
When everything external has crumbled down, you are left only with what is within – this is a big message that it is time to discover that light within you, that strength within you, that magic within you. It is a message that you have been ignoring it for far too long. Now is your time to let your soul shine.
You are stronger than you think
The crumbling occurs only when the Universe knows you are strong enough to handle it. You are being stripped of all the things you have relied on out of fear. It is here to show you that you are strong enough to let go, to live without these things, to rely on yourself. You are more than strong enough and you’re going to be even stronger because of this part of your journey.
I promise, sweet soul, you are so strong and so capable. Look within, you will see it too.
If it left, it wasn’t for you
Meaning – if people fall away, they were not for you. If a job fell away, it was not for you. Whatever and whoever falls away fell away because it was not.for.you. Even if you cannot see it in the moment, life is working for you always. If you are someone who has ignored the whisper or even screams of your soul to move on from something, life has no choice but to make you move on from it.
Without these things holding back, you finally have the chance to flourish.
You have been given a blank canvas – create anything you want
 You have nothing left? THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE WHATEVER LIFE YOU WANT. Fuck the stories that you were attached to – they have crumbled. Fuck the people that were holding you back – they have crumbled. Fuck the structures that were keeping you small – they have crumbled. This is an opportunity to ask yourself, who do you want to be? What life do you want to live? And to start brand new.
You have nothing to lose anymore and you have the whole world in front of you. Create the life you want. Make it beautiful.
So, my crumbling. It forced me to find the strength within me, the magic within me – it brought me here to a life that I have consciously created out of love instead of fear. I am grateful every day for this period in my life – the hardest period in my life thus far – the most transformative period in my life.
