Hi beauty, welcome to a new month. One filled with depth, transformation, and self-empowerment.
As I sat down to write about the energetics of September in our Flow with the Moon Membership, I found depth. Within the moment. Within the words. Within the way my body was responding to this month soon to hold us. And within the astrology of September, too.
September is the unknown depths of the ocean floor. The deep release of leaves falling – providing nourishment, nutrients, and new life as they decompose into the soil.
It is a thinning of the veil. Where the voice of Soul gets louder, felt deeper, palpable in its presence.
And it holds within it much opportunity for change. For finally letting go, saying goodbye to that thing, those things – whether internal and intangible or external and very tangible. There’s vast opportunity for self-empowerment this month – or more truthfully, to remember the power that has always been alive and swirling within each of us.
I wanted to sit down and write about some of the things going on within Girl and Her Moon this month – to welcome you into our world for a moment.
Live Equinox Gathering
 Three months ago held within the arms of the June Solstice, I invited my dear friend Patti Higgins into our community to hold a live gathering.
I’m deeply familiar with Patti’s work, her intentions, energy, commitments and abilities. She is someone that I hold vast reverence and respect for, and look up to her work, and simply who she is, with gratitude and awe.
The gathering was one of my favourite things we have done here at Girl and Her Moon. It was raw, real, vulnerable and empowering. It was transformative, fun, and a beautiful cracking open – to life, ourselves, and each other.
And so, I’ve invited Patti to be a part of Girl and Her Moon and guide our community through each Equinox and Solstice as major points of initiation in the wheel of the year.
It’s what I’m looking forward to most this month. These sessions are deep, vast, catalysing and healing. They are filled with joy and remembering, healing and soul; allowing us to land deeper in this life with more of our light.
A mixture of intuitive mastery, energy attunements, threshold crossing, and soul mentoring – this month we will gather live under the Equinox on September 23.

Astrology Class
Each month inside of our Flow with the Moon Membership, we offer a new astrology class. This month, we are exploring in depth the gifts and healing potentials of Virgo. Whether you are a Virgo yourself, perhaps a loved one is, or you’re simply desiring to explore astrology and the archetypes with intimacy and partnership.
In this class we will look to the evolutionary purpose and potentials of this zodiac sign, welcome its medicine into our lives, and explore how Virgo lives within us – AKA, how it manifests in your astrology chart.
With instructions on how to open and understand your natal chart, breakdowns of Virgo through each house and the planets in this sign, as well as journal prompts to deepen your understanding of your relationship with Virgo.

Eclipse Workshop
September brings our second and final Eclipse Season of the year, holding within it deep transformation, opportunity for change and self-reclamation, heightened intuition and louder inner truths.
As a bonus this month in the Flow with the Moon Membership, we are holding an Eclipse Alchemy Workshop exploring both the astronomical understanding of Eclipses – what they are and what is actually happening in our skies, as well as the astrological and energetic opportunities of this time – the mystical thread that seems to come closer, the soulful knowing that seems to get louder, and the presence of all Life seeming to be felt deeper.

Virgo New Moon Ritual
Named: Foundations – An Energy Medicine and Journalling Practice, I wanted this to be a clarifying new Moon offering.
For the energy of this lunation held that potential. To clarify what lives within our minds, what is true to our hearts, and what we are being called to place front and centre in our lives for commitment and consistent building.
This ritual, which can be engaged at any time, as many times as desired, is both an energetic practice focusing on deep grounding and building safety in the body, and a journalling practice as a doorway into that clarity on offer.

Dreams & Spirit Guides Workshop
We have a Pisces full Moon Lunar Eclipse this month. Pisces, being our final zodiac, is the mystic, dreamer, intuitive deeply in touch with all that lives in the unseen, the sacred. Naturally, we needed something just as mystical as an offering to sit beside this Lunar Eclipse.
Dilosh has created two classes. One on dreams, what they mean, interpretation, and how to begin communicating and collaborating with this realm of ourselves.
And one on Spirit Guides. The beings in deep support and partnership with us, the building of truth, and the creation of what is ours to create in this life.
With Dilosh we will explore how to safely and intentionally open ourselves to these realms of communication existing just beyond the veil, along with a ‘Higher Self Meditation’.

On the Blog
I’m having a lot of fun continuing to build this blog, with more focus placed on it this last year. Did you know I initially thought Girl and Her Moon was going to be a blog? Before I could even dream of a team, readings, or something as seemingly impossible as our membership, I was researching how one creates an ‘online magazine’, and how it could support us financially.
Life showed me more as I was ready for it. And somehow, we are now here. Yet I realise this dream of a blossoming blog wasn’t off, it just wasn’t the whole picture.
On the blog you’ll find weekly horoscopes exploring both the collective astrology for the week and the astrology based on your zodiac sign. Written by myself uploaded each Friday.
Kapualani is also writing some beautiful in-depth explorations on each tarot card that releases every Saturday. So if you are interested in learning the symbolism, meaning, and potentials of tarot reading – stay tuned!
