When Is Uranus Retrograde in 2024?
Uranus’ Retrograde begins September 1, 2024, until January 30, 2025. It brings both collective and individual invitations for the integration of all the ways we have been evolving, growing, changing, and pushing past existing boundaries – bringing us closer to our truth in the process.
The Planet of Awakening: What Is Uranus Retrograde?
Uranus is an outer planet residing over 50,000km from our Sun, as opposed to the short 5,000km distance of Mercury. Yet despite this distance, its sharp presence cannot be questioned.
Its energy is electric, innovative, and quick. It moves through our bodies and minds bringing awakening, higher consciousness, breaking open and heightened awareness. Its purpose is freedom, liberation, evolution and truth. It is here to open us to a new way, a different way. And it is a planet that represents a fundamental truth of our world – nothing stands still. Existence is in a constant state of evolution.
But can evolution move backwards? What happens when Uranus begins its seemingly backwards spin in our heavens?
Retrogrades share with us an insight worthy of pondering on – growth isn’t exclusive to forward movement. Retrogrades are filled with vast and rich opportunities for growth and evolution, both within the hearts of each us as individuals, as well as the collective heart that we all share.

Collectively, we’ve seen Uranus in Taurus at work in the financial sector with a new world of crypto, the rise of digital entrepreneurship and NFT’s.
