Scorpio South Node
In January we began a new 18 month period when the Nodes switched signs. All of the eclipses over this year and half period will be in either of these two signs to collectively help us evolve our survival needs.
We will be releasing (the south node) dependencies emotionally, financially, and psychologically so that you can focus on creating more self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and deeper self-worth through your own efforts and inherent value. It’s a time to reassess the ways we have been giving our power away by sacrificing our own needs or values in order to maintain relationships with those things outside of us that we feel we need to be ok. This can be a person, a job, a philosophy, an identity, an association, the list goes on.
Where does your worth come from? How do you make your money? Where do you give your power away knowingly or unknowingly?
This is a time to majorly reassess the ways love and money can enslave us keeping us needy. A time when we get to deeply look at our patterns and see what needs adjustment in this area of life so we can release our subconscious programming and choose a conscious path forward. Eclipse portals can bring in a new person or open a new path during these periods to show us how to cross the threshold into the unknown.
Taurus North Node
While the North Node is in Taurus, invite more Venus energy (the ruler of Taurus) into our lives.
Invite beauty into your world in every way. Bring more plants into your home and workspace, offer your body ritual and self-care to stay nourished, and give yourself the luxury of time amongst nature. Venus rules pleasure and pleasure is an invitation into the feminine. Reawakening the feminine on this planet means reawakening your senses to the pleasures of this world and embodying the divine in the material world instead of seeing them as separate or contentious to one another. Luxury isn’t inherently materialistic and pleasure isn’t inherently hedonistic. That’s the patriarchy talking! Come back into a healthy relationship with the divine feminine to heal these wounds around love, money, our bodies, and mother earth.
How will the Nodes affect your sign?
We will all experience a time of big shifts ushered in by the eclipse seasons but some of us will feel it subtly and others more intensely.
This eclipse season happens at 13 degrees. Check your natal chart to see if any planets or your axis (Ascendant/Descendent, MC/IC) are around 13 degrees. If so, these eclipses will be aspecting your chart and you will feel it even more powerfully.
The moon’s nodes have an 18.5 year cycle. If you are 19, 37, 56, 75, or 93 then you are having your nodal return. This can be a supercharged time when you feel on your path. You may feel clear about how the past supports your future confidence on which way to move forward. These can be beautiful personal growth years where you make important decisions about what to continue carrying from your past and what old habits, patterns, and identities are ready to be left behind so that you can bloom!
If you are 9, 28, 46, 65, or 84 then you are having your nodal opposition. This is a time for manifesting our destiny. First, we will be met with our resistance, our karma, and our complexes so that we can find the ability within ourselves to break through these limitations allowing our solar potential of our soul to shine through in our daily life. Stay focused. You are turning an important corner!

The moon blocks out the sun, symbolically distorting our solar spiritual purpose and highlighting the needs of our ego. Our inner child and past tendencies need to be confronted and we can feel emotionally shocked by feeling a lack of clarity on what we are here to do.
This is a new moon, so we are also beginning a new cycle while we are confronted by our past emotional tendencies that have kept us stunted and feeling powerless. We must courageously probe into our psyche’s to understand our complexes. We are being asked to come into deeper communion with our Self so that we can make more honest communication to those around us without distortions from our past wounding.
As we gaze deep into our shadow we can find the scared inner child that needs to be comforted. Guide this scared child through reparenting them. Offer what your parents were not able to give so that you can clarify what emotions, fears, and memories that are ready to be discarded clearing the bridge that reconnects you to your natural power.
North Node Lunar Total Eclipse in Taurus

In this scenario the earth’s shadow blocks the light of the sun from reaching the moon. Lunar eclipses happen on Full Moon’s and help us complete the shift that opened up at the Solar Eclipse. We can feel torn between our past and our future while we are in this oppositional energy. You may feel surprised or inspired by the sudden realizations that have arrived over the course of the past weeks. Allow yourself to take things slow as you process and integrate them.
This is a time where you can close the door to the lower vibrations of the South Node in Scorpio while you integrate the high vibrations of the North Node in Taurus. That is not a small feat!
