Where life beckons us inward, and change begins from within. Where balance, harmony, and beauty bloom from our hearts. And where we find ourselves finally saying goodbye to old versions of ourselves, stories, narratives, and seasons of our lives – only to find in that goodbye the very offerings to begin opening to our next selves.
For there is something on the horizon.
An opening. A new season. A new chapter. October is a preparation. A slow transition humming from beneath the surface. We are moving towards something. But first we must enter the cocoon that is this month – and let ourselves be transformed.
October 2024 Monthly Horoscope

A New Moon Solar Eclipse just beyond the entrance into this month on October 2 brings a beautiful release, one with beauty, love, support and heart. And as Jupiter begins its four month retrograde on October 9, it brings our mind inward, reflecting, slowing down, taking a breath out.
Within the arms of this month, we enter the final moments of a chapter that begun over 16 years ago. The terrain that is Pluto in Capricorn that we will not see again in our lifetime. As Pluto finishes its retrograde on October 11, we begin our goodbye; closing doors, releasing stories, shedding all that we picked up from our time here – all in preparation for something entirely different on the other side – a new world that we will enter next month as Pluto steps into Aquarius where it will remain for the next 19 years.
And it is within this month that we meet a highly transformative, releasing, empowering, and healing lunations of the year – that of the Full Moon in Aries on October 17 just days before the Sun moves into Scorpio on October 22, where depth, introspection, and connection with our unconscious and the unseen seem to call our names.
And finally, October’s numerology says it all. A 9 month, the ending of a cycle. Let yourself say goodbye to stories, seasons, chapters, versions, ideas, patterns – that you know you are ready to say goodbye to.
With gratitude, love, appreciation for this chapter that is coming to a close and everything that brought you to who and where you are today. There is something beginning to open. We may not quite know what it is yet, but we know it requires us to first breathe out, release, and empty our hands.
