By tapping on certain meridians points and repeating self-affirmations, we tell the deepest part of our limbic brain to release the protective layers and surrender said “negative” emotions so they can start to point at the limitation, and not to us, as the victim of them. By desensitizing the “pain” around the triggered emotions, a neutral distance is taken and the emotion can be released, creating a sense of safety, freedom and lightness.
Even though our minds are clever and we may know that we are blocked, and why, the body keeps the score and hold memories. The tapping releases what we call the memory capsules. The patterns are running the show; their loop make us think that they are our identity. They are not! Though we keep on proving to ourselves that we won’t make it, they are only old patterns holding us back. By re-imprinting positive and aligned beliefs, we change our state and neuro-pathways, allowing a deep embodied change. The body is the master and holds much wisdom.
