A Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, temporarily obscuring the Sun’s light. A Lunar Eclipse happens when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon, casting Earth’s shadow across the Moon.
These moments capture human imagination because they are rare, dramatic, and deeply symbolic. Day turns into night, shadows cover light, and the heavens reveal their hidden mechanics.

During Eclipse Season, the usual flow of new and full moons intensifies. What might ordinarily be subtle becomes undeniable. We may feel heightened emotions, sudden insights, or events that accelerate change. The space between eclipses, usually about two weeks, creates a corridor of transformation where reality itself seems more fluid and malleable.
Eclipses 2025: Spiritually and Mystically

The second Eclipse Season of 2025 opens under Virgo skies with the Virgo New Moon on August 23, ushering us into a six-week corridor of change, release, and reorientation.
With the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo from January 2025 until July 2026, the eclipses this year speak to a collective journey of surrendering over-analysis and control (Virgo) in favor of faith, imagination, and spiritual attunement (Pisces).
This season of celestial events invites us to soften the edges of perfectionism, to let go of needing all the details figured out, and to practice a deeper trust in the unseen rhythm of life.
Virgo offers the practical devotion of showing up with care, while Pisces reminds us of the larger current that carries us. Together, these eclipses remind us: our work is sacred, but we are not meant to do it all alone.
September 7, 2025: Pisces Lunar Eclipse
At 15° Pisces, the Lunar Eclipse illuminates the waters of the soul. Opposing the Virgo Sun, it calls us to balance discernment with compassion, analysis with imagination, effort with surrender. The Moon here is closely aligned with the North Node, emphasizing that the growth edge lies in leaning into Piscean qualities: trust, forgiveness, dream, mysticism, and oneness.
Saturn stands at the final degree of Pisces, conjunct Neptune, suggesting that old structures of belief or identity may dissolve, asking us to mature spiritually and trust what is yet unseen. There is a sense of karmic culmination – what no longer serves is ready to dissolve back into the ocean.
Practically: This is a powerful time for release rituals. Journaling what feels heavy, outdated, or controlling, then offering it to water (a bath, a bowl of saltwater, a river) can align you with the eclipse’s medicine. September 21, 2025: Virgo Solar Eclipse
At 29° Virgo, this Solar Eclipse brings an ending and a beginning at once. As a South Node eclipse, it highlights the need to let go of outdated Virgo patterns – over-perfectionism, hyper-criticism, or the belief that we must earn our worth through endless service.
With Saturn opposing the eclipse from Pisces, and both Uranus and Pluto making supportive trines, we are asked to release old stories of control and efficiency so that new possibilities of freedom, healing, and higher alignment may emerge.
This eclipse closes a chapter that began many years ago, completing a Virgo cycle and preparing us to more fully embody the Piscean North Node path. Where we have clung to systems, routines, or identities out of fear, life may gently, or not so gently, reorganize them. Yet with Uranus and Pluto harmonizing, there is deep evolutionary support for building something freer, truer, and more soul-aligned.
Practically: Rituals of clearing and simplification are potent here. Clean your space, release what feels unnecessary, and create rituals of devotion to what remains.
