Ace of Pentacles Tarot Card Meaning

The image of the Ace of Pentacles (or Coins), depicts a single golden/yellow coin with a five pointed star etched upon its face. The coin is held in the palm of a hand, extending from a cloud. As is the case with the other aces, the white hand and cloud we see in the image is a symbolic reference to spirit and/or the divine. The hand holding the pentacle is highlighted by a white halo or rays of white light glowing from it–another reference to the divine/spirit.

In the background there is a garden-like setting and a pathway, surrounded by spring-green coloured grass to either side. It leads up to an archway, decorated by dark green foliage and red/pink flowers. Through the archway you can just see two mountain peaks off in the far distant background.
