Every two years, Mars and Uranus come together in our skies in a conjunction. For a moment, they become one. Their forces join. Their energies merge. And while this year their meeting happens on July 15 2024, its energy has been building for the last week, and will continue in its presence until Mars leaves Taurus at the end of this week.
Mars in Astrology is primal energy. It is drive, passion, will, assertion, and courage. Mars must take action. It must move towards reaching its vision, its desire, its calling.

Chiron will begin its retrograde in Aries next week, yet before commencing its backwards spin it makes a final connection with the Sun in Cancer and cannot be separated from the Mars Uranus conjunction happening on the same day of July 15, 2024.
While Chiron represents woundedness, it simultaneously represents healing. It is the medicine that we are for ourselves, and the alchemy that occurs when we tend to our hurts with presence and love. The Sun is our life force. It is our spirit, consciousness, vitality, and heart. It is the core of who we are. When the Sun within us changes, everything changes.
Supported by the vast energy of Mars and Uranus, this day is a cosmic pathway into deep inner healing. It is an invitation to embody greater confidence and trust in ourselves. And it is a reminder that we are medicine, we are what we need. As Mars continues to travel slowly separating from Uranus, it crosses the threshold of Taurus into Gemini on July 20, 2024, where it join Jupiter and remain until September 4, 2024.
While Mars is passion and courage, Gemini is the mind. It is curiosity, learning, variety and openness. It is communication, the voice, speaking and sharing. And it’s an energy that loves to move – gathering perspectives, information, and data from a vast range of sources only to begin weaving them together and connecting the pieces.
