Venus is love. Venus is beauty. Venus is embodied worthiness and harmonious balance. Venus reminds us of our worthiness and magnetism.
She invites us to witness, remember, feel, and create with the abundance, beauty, and pleasure available in each moment. She brings us together with others, reminding us of the pure joy in partnership and connection.

Effects of Venus Retrograde
Of all planets, Venus retrogrades the least in our skies, moving through her backwards spin every 18 months for approx. 40 days. When she is retracing her steps through her retrograde, we are invited to bring space, presence, questioning, and reframing to our relationship with all that she represents.
We are reflecting on how we honour our inherent worthiness and witness our self-value. We are reviewing our relationship with harmony and beauty, our own bodies, abundance and fertility.
We are allowing for a shift in perspective to the dynamics that we bring into relationships, the way we love, and receive love. And we are creating space to reorganise our relationship to pleasure, joy, and harmony.
This year however, there is no Venus Retrograde. What does this mean for us?
No Venus Retrograde in 2024
When a planet is in its forward movement, it is moving in a way that allows for expansion and evolution in the areas of life it represents.
As Venus continues in her forward movement throughout 2024, we are building our self-worth. We are strengthening our connection to beauty and creativity. We are moving forward in our relationships – or the way that we relate to partnerships, love, intimacy and collaboration. We are walking forward on our path and collecting the insights, experiences, perspectives, and that our path is offering to us.
We are in a gathering phase of Venusian living. Gathering experience. Gathering perspectives. Gathering insights.
When Venus next retrogrades in March of 2025, this is where we will begin refining all that we have been gathering. Clearing what is no longer relevant, reframing certain insights brought in, and creating the space to process and integrate this vast journey that we have just walked.

To welcome in her energy and ask her to remind you of the value you hold. To feel that value begin move through and fill your body, bringing healing to any parts of you that doubted your worthiness. What choices you would make, how you would relate to others, how your sense of self and identity would begin to shift and evolve.

The way we do our best to show we love and care for one another. The earth. Sound. There is an entire realm of beauty present in this world, and as Venus continues in her forward movement throughout the year, how can you create more space in your body, being, and awareness to engage with this beauty? And it’s a beautiful time to open our hearts. To ourselves. To each other. To the earth. To life.
